24.10.2011: V Euromediterranean Energy Forum Integrated Energy and Climate Policy in The European Union and its Influence in the Mediterranean Region

Barcelona (Spain) – Start date: 24.10.2011 to date: 25.10.2011

Organized by Club Español de la Energía (Enerclub) and the Instituto Europeo del Mediterraneo (IEMed),with the collaboration of the Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean, the OECD-MENA InvestmentProgramme and the Mediterranean Energy Observatory (OME).

As in previous editions, the Forum will be attended by prestigious members of governments andinternational institutions, as well as senior representatives of energy sector companies operating withinthe Mediterranean region. The objective of this Forum is to analyse the current situation and the mainchallenges faced by countries in the region with regards to energy/ fostering constructive dialogue with aview to developing and strengthening relationships between the various players involved.
