Vienna - A two-day meeting was held on 29 and 30 November 2010 at the Austrian Parliament in Vienna to discuss Ways of Financing Projects regarding Energy, Environment and Water by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) and other related topics. Ankara - The Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI University) based in Slovenia invited Deputy Secretary General Ilan Chet to its three days General Assembly 2010 taking place in Ankara, to discuss perspectives of academic cooperation in the Mediterranean region.

During the lunch, General Consuls and the Secretary General discussed the future potentials of the Union for the Mediterranean and pointed out the importance for Barcelona to host this organization grouping 43 Euro-Mediterranean countries.
