The objective is to assess the progress made in gender equality and to provide recommendations to policy makers at the national and Euro-Mediterranean level.

Female university students from Albania, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia are currently receiving mentoring and training for creating their own businesses.

Over 1,200 young female university students from Albania, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia have attended the Women Entrepreneurship Days and are currently benefiting from mentoring and specific training on marketing, management and finance to develop their own start-ups.

Twenty-five senior female high public officials from the Mediterranean countries meet in Barcelona to discuss the role of gender equality in various issues that the region faces.
