{"id":104567,"date":"2020-09-15T16:12:57","date_gmt":"2020-09-15T15:12:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ufmsecretariat.org\/\/7th-meeting-working-group-blue-economy\/"},"modified":"2020-09-14T16:17:26","modified_gmt":"2020-09-14T15:17:26","slug":"7th-meeting-working-group-blue-economy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ufmsecretariat.org\/ar\/7th-meeting-working-group-blue-economy\/","title":{"rendered":"7th meeting of the Working Group on the Blue Economy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><strong>Online, 15 September 2020<\/strong>.\u00a0The 7th meeting of the Working Group (WG) on the Blue Economy will take place on the 15 September 2020.\u00a0Due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions and related health and safety recommendations, the WG will take place online.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The 7th meeting of the UfM WG on Blue Economy aims at:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\">Presenting the calendar towards the 2nd UfM Ministerial Conference on Blue Economy, scheduled for early February 2021 in Malta;<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\">Updating the Focal Points on the content and structure of the 2nd draft UfM Ministerial declaration;<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\">\u00a0Wrapping-up the key messages of the UfM Online Stakeholders Consultation that took places between the 11th and 25th of March, 2020;<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\">Presenting and discussing the impacts of the COVID-19 crisis on Blue Economy in the Mediterranean and possible ways for recovery;<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\">Updating on the Bluemed and Westmed Initiatives latest advancements;<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\">Presenting the new designed\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/medblueconomyplatform.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">Mediterranean Blue Economy Stakeholders Platform<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The meeting counts on a very high participation of countries and stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The Mediterranean Blue Economy Stakeholders Platform has just been re-designed into a more user-friendly version to ease navigation and search for information.
