Yet, it is a key element to improve employment in the region. The UfM Secretariat places Job intermediation as a major component of the <a href=\"https:\/\/ufmsecretariat.org\/\/mediterranean-initiative-for-jobs-med4jobs\/\" target=\"_blank\">Med4Jobs initiative<\/a>\u00a0and in this framework organizes the 1st Technical Platform on Job Intermediation and placement services in MENA countries on the 15th of October 2014 in Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop aims at exchange of best practices on job intermediation at a technical level, facilitate cooperation between local and regional actors, identify successful practices for potential replication and up-scaling and explore areas for possible UfM intervention and support under Med4Jobs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Barcelona, 15\u00a0October 2014 Unlike employability, labour markets intermediation programs and projects in the Euro-Mediterranean countries are rather limited and do not benefit from the same level of funding.
