{"id":18020,"date":"2015-10-06T16:44:10","date_gmt":"2015-10-06T15:44:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ufmsecretariat.org\/?p=18020"},"modified":"2015-07-22T16:07:11","modified_gmt":"2015-07-22T15:07:11","slug":"4th-steering-committee-of-mednc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ufmsecretariat.org\/ar\/4th-steering-committee-of-mednc\/","title":{"rendered":"4th Steering Committee of MedNC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Rabat, 6 October 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The main objective of the <a href=\"https:\/\/ufmsecretariat.org\/\/ar\/mednc-new-chance-mediterranean-network\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mediterranean New Chance (MedNC) programme<\/a> \u200eis to provide young people who have been excluded from the \u200elabour market (dropouts from school and unemployed graduates) \u200ewith innovative training and first business experience following \u200ethe successful pedagogical model of the Second Chance School of \u200eMarseille (E2C).<\/p>\n<p>The 4<sup>th<\/sup> MedNC Steering Committee will focus on developing \u200esynergies, exchanging experiences and sharing best practices among the \u200elocal partners of the MedNC consortium. \u200eThis meeting is co-organized by the Secretariat \u200eof the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), in collaboration with the Office of Economic Cooperation for \u200eMediterranean and Middle East (OCEMO), the Second Chance School of \u200eMarseille (E2C), the French Development Agency (AFD) and the Foundation of the\u00a0Office Ch\u00e9rifien des Phosphates (OCP) &#8211; local partner of the project in Morocco.<\/p>\n<p>The 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Steering Committee, which took place on 26 February 2015 at the UfMS premises in Barcelona, was the first \u200eregional meeting related to the project after MedNC was labelled by the \u200eUfM in December 2014. \u200eThe meeting aimed at taking stock of the work performed so far and \u200ediscussing the way to move forward. Among those participating in the meeting were representatives of three different schemes from Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia which are currently \u200epart of the MedNC Network.
