The \u201cDesalination Facility for the Gaza strip\u201d project is a landmark operation consisting of three integrated projects in the Gaza Strip: the construction of a 55 million cubic meters desalination Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) plant; a North-South conveyance system; and a Non-Revenue Water reduction project.<\/p>\n<p>The large-scale desalination facility and its associated water supply infrastructure will supply drinking water to more than 1.8 million Palestinian inhabitants, thereby presenting a sustainable solution for the chronic and longstanding water shortage in the Gaza Strip.
