During five weeks starting April 16<sup>th<\/sup>, different kind of symposiums, talks, meetings for young researchers and cultural activities will be hosted in Murcia, in order to build a forum for exchange of knowledge, reflection, and discussion on issues related to the Mediterranean region and led by the Universities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Mediterranean Know How Day and the 4th EMUNI Research Souk 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The first days of the\u00a0<em>Mediterranean Know How<\/em>\u00a0were devoted to the\u00a0<em>4<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0edition of the EMUNI Research Souk<\/em>\u00a0organized by the CMN with the support of the EMUNI University and the Hashemite University-Jordan, under the theme \u201cBridging Gaps in the Mediterranean Research Space.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Secretary General for Higher Education and \u00a0Research, Prof. Chet chaired the opening session and delivered a keynote address on the role of the Universities in the future of the Mediterranean globalised economy. He stressed on the high importance of the Intellectual property and the character of the Universities as potential initiators for incubators and startup companies. Furthermore, he shed light on the projects promoted by the HE&amp;R Division; the three Master Study Programmes and the three Areas of PhD Research Programmes and its crucial role for the mobility and employability of the students.
