The Region of Murcia, in Spain, and the Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean jointly organized a three-day seminar to exchange experiences in the development and proper use of resources in water-scarce regions. The workshop, that was held in Murcia last February 21 to 23, focused in the analysis of Murcia\u2019s successful experience in the field of water preservation and re-use and in the discussion of the development of regional and sub-regional projects in some specific issues faced by water-scarce countries in the region.<\/p>\n
This international forum brought together twenty experts from nine member-countries of the Union for the Mediterranean.
