The Water Expert Group Meeting of the UfM will take place on 5-6 November in Athens, Greece.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/ufmsecretariat.org\/\/ar\/ufm-water-expert-group-weg\/\">UfM\u00a0Water Expert Group (WEG)<\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>was\u00a0mandated by the Euro-Mediterranean Ministerial Conference on Water (22 December 2008, Dead Sea, Jordan) and confirmed by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ufmsecretariat.org\/\/ar\/ufm-ministers-agree-on-new-framework-for-an-enhanced-regional-cooperation-on-water-in-the-mediterranean\/\">UfM Ministerial declaration on Water (Malta, 2017)<\/a>.\u00a0It is comprised of high level representatives from the relevant Ministries and will convene twice a year counting on the participation as well of regional institutions, IFIs and stakeholders as observers.<\/p>\n<p><em>For further information about the event, please contact Water &amp; Environment\u00a0Division:\u00a0<span class=\"colorblue\"><a href=\"mailto:%20water@ufmsecretariat.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">water@ufmsecretariat.org<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>5-6 November, Athens.
