The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) and\u00a0the European Commission (EC), in partnership with\u00a0the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Euromed University of Fes (UEMF),\u00a0jointly organise a regional seminar on Horizon 2020 to be held on 22 January 2019 on the\u00a0<a id=\"LPlnk962724\" class=\"OWAAutoLink\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ueuromed.org\/\">UEMF<\/a>\u00a0campus in Fes, Morocco.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar aims at reinforcing the cooperation in research and innovation (R&amp;I) across the Mediterranean, and specially at\u00a0<strong>enhancing the joint participation of stakeholders from both Northern and Southern Mediterranean\u00a0countries in the last calls for proposals of the\u00a0<\/strong><a id=\"LPlnk763174\" class=\"OWAAutoLink\" href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/programmes\/horizon2020\/en\/\"><strong>Horizon 2020<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0programme of the European\u00a0Union (EU).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Horizon 2020 EU work programmes specifically target the Southern rim of the Mediterranean as a partner for cooperation.
