The Secretary General of the UfM, Nasser Kamel, met today with Cesare Onestini, the Director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.etf.europa.eu\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">European Training Foundation (ETF)<\/a> in the sidelines of the 4<sup>th<\/sup> <strong>UfM Ministerial Conference on Employment and Labou<\/strong>r, hosted by Portugal.<\/p>\n<p>The two sides stressed the solid and long-standing cooperation within the different <strong>UfM platforms<\/strong> that include the UfM High Level Working Group (HLWG) on Employment and Labour, the UfM Experts Technical Meeting on Industrial Cooperation, the <a href=\"https:\/\/ufmsecretariat.org\/\/ar\/project\/mediterranean-initiative-for-jobs-med4jobs\/\">Med4Jobs<\/a> Advisory Board, the UfM Conferences on Women Empowerment, and the Regional Dialogue process on \u201cHigher Education Internationalization and Academic Mobility in the Euro-Mediterranean region\u201d. They highlighted the potential synergies in the field of <strong>Vocational Education and Training<\/strong> under the umbrella of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.torinoprocess.eu\/#about-the-torino-process\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Torino Process<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The discussions also addressed the potential collaboration within the framework of the <strong>\u201cFuture of Work\u201d<\/strong> thematic by co-organizing a Conference in Turin ETF\u2019s 25<sup>th<\/sup> Anniversary and the Centenary of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilo.org\/global\/lang--en\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">International Labour Organization<\/a> Conference.
