{"id":126067,"date":"2021-10-13T17:56:19","date_gmt":"2021-10-13T16:56:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ufmsecretariat.org\/\/?p=126067"},"modified":"2021-10-13T18:02:03","modified_gmt":"2021-10-13T17:02:03","slug":"osce-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ufmsecretariat.org\/fr\/osce-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"UfM Secretary General participates in OSCE Conference \u201cRoad to resilience: post-pandemic recovery and security\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Barcelona, 12 October.<\/strong> UfM Secretary General Nasser Kamel participated online in the high-level segment of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.osce.org\/event\/2021-osce-mediterranean-conference\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2021 OSCE Mediterranean Conference<\/a> held in hybrid format in Vienna on the 12 and 13 of October dedicated to the theme \u201cRoad to resilience: post-pandemic recovery and security in the OSCE and Mediterranean regions\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>On his intervention, the Secretary General recalled the need to focus on three elements in a sustainable post pandemic recovery: an effective regional integration that will unleash the full social and economic potential of the Mediterranean region; an inclusive development axed in a digital transition; a recovery based in climate-resilient and nature-positive policies.<\/p>\n<p>In this regard, he highlighted the very positive results achieved in the recent UfM Ministerial Meetings.<\/p>\n<p>SG Kamel reiterated the full commitment of the UfM to continue helping the OSCE further reinforce its links with its Mediterranean partners and contribute to the stability of the entire Euro-Mediterranean region.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Barcelona, 12 October.
