He met with several officials from the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the diplomatic cell of the Elys\u00e9e Palace. He also met with the ambassador Karim Amellal, Interministerial Delegate for the Mediterranean to discuss the follow-up of the \u201cForum des mondes m\u00e9diterran\u00e9ens\u201d and in particular the \u201cPlaidoyer 2030\u201d, an advocacy work led by nearly 150 young people from the Mediterranean for a more sustainable and inclusive cooperation in the region.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Secretary General participated in the preview screening at UNESCO of the documentary series produced by the French Public TV Channel France 2 entitled &#8220;<i>Mediterranean, the Odyssey of Life<\/i>&#8220;. The screening was followed by a discussion with several actors of environmental protection in the Mediterranean. Finally, he gave several interviews, notably on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?time_continue=1&amp;v=HBh1GgYIfYs&amp;feature=emb_logo\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cHiwar\u201d (Dialogue) program<\/span><\/a> on France 24 in Arabic and on RFI radio in the program \u201c\u00c9co d&#8217;ici, \u00c9co d&#8217;ailleurs\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HBh1GgYIfYs\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>7-8 April 2022, Paris &#8211; The UfM Secretary General, Nasser Kamel, visited Paris on 7 and 8 April 2022.
