23-24 June 2022.\u00a0The UfM Secretary general was invited to participate in the Tunisia Investment Forum and the ANIMA Investment Network Annual Conference held on 21-24 June 2022 in Tunis. In addition to the Forum, the ANIMA network organized a series of events in the sidelines of the Tunisia Investment Forum from 21 to 24 June 2022 in association with the Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration des Entreprises Citoyennes de Tunisia (CONECT) and the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA Tunisia). In addition, the UfM Secretary General had a working lunch with Samir SA\u00cfED, Minister of Economy and Planning of Tunisia, and gave a live interview to the Tunisian Radio.<\/p>\n
The Forum and the Conference brought together over 300 participants and speakers that represented governments, international organisations, IFIs, development cooperation actors,investorsand big corporation. The 20th edition of the Tunisia Investment Forum was organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy and Planning of Tunisia, in partnership with the World Bank. The UfM Secretary General delivered a keynote speech during the Official Opening of the Forum alongside the Head of Government of Tunisia, the Tunisian Minister of Economy and Planning, and other high-level speakers. He also delivered a courtesy introductory word to the ANIMA Conference activities. DSG Abdelkader El Khissassi and Mohammed Elrazzaz (Economic Development and Employment Division) participated as keynote speaker and panellist (respectively)in a panel on June23rddedicatedto \u201cregionalization of value chains and its relevance to the Mediterranean Region\u201d, alongside other speakers from ANIMA, UNCTAD, CMI and ITC.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
