Act."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>26-28 October 2017, Hakfar Hayarok, Israel.<\/strong> \u2013 The annual YOCOPAS Conference &#8211; Youth Organized Collaboration for Peace and Sustainability is one of the highlights of the academic year at the <a href=\"https:\/\/ufmsecretariat.org\/eastern-mediterranean-international-school-emis\/\">Eastern Mediterranean International School<\/a> (EMIS), a project labelled by the Union for the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n<p>The YOCOPAS initiative was established in 2015 by students and educators from EMIS in order to bring together high-school students from the Mediterranean region and beyond, in the world at large, with the objective to create a platform for collaborative action and to build capacities among students for them to emerge as leaders and social entrepreneurs in their local communities.<\/p>\n<p>The annual conference of the YOCOPAS initiative is both youth-led and youth-targeted.
