The meetings focused on the ongoing activity within the framework of the Union for the Mediterranean and the German support to the work of the UfM Secretariat. Mrs Emily Haber, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, reiterated German continued support to the UfM and Germany\u2019s strong interest in the work presently in progress, in particular the Mediterranean Solar Plan.<\/p>\n<p>Secretary General Sijilmassi had talks with high level government officials in charge of international cooperation, renewable energies, water and environment.
