The IEMed co-organizes with Fundaci\u00f3 &#8220;La Caixa&#8221; the Barcelona Euro-Med Forum in the framework of the activities of the MedConfederation.<\/p>\n<p>Dedicated to the theme of \u201cBridging SMEs between North and South Mediterranean: The role of SMEs in the socioeconomic development of the Mediterranean region\u201d, the event will be held on 4-5 July 2018 at Palau Macaya in Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p>There will be three consecutive panel sessions &#8211; \u201cHow to create ecosystems for entrepreneurship\u201d, \u201cHow to support the growth of SMEs\u201d, and \u201cThe role of policy makers and other stakeholders to support SMEs in the south Mediterranean\u201d- which will focus on the analysis of the current social entrepreneurship systems, business enabling infrastructures and access to financial instruments for SMEs around the Mediterranean basin; and feature eminent experts exchanging views and reacting to new challenges the SMEs in the region faces today.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ufmsecretariat.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/20180615_Barcelona-EuroMed-Forum.pdf\">Agenda of the event<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>4-5 July 2018, Barcelona.
