The event will present the complementarity of both formal and innovative science-based educational tools to accelerate climate education in the Mediterranean. While highlighting the specific needs in climate education in the zone, the event will feature representatives from the Tunisian Ministry of Environment, civil society and higher education representatives, already working on the ground to scale up climate education. The importance of including regional perspectives and communities’ involvement in climate education efforts will be emphasized.
