The PLIFF intends to contribute, through regional and local authorities with the local private sector, to the objectives of PAMex 2030 and to result in the implementation of concrete projects in the areas of
i.) sanitation and waste management, thus contributing to the zero plastic objective,
ii. ) electrification of ports, bioenergy alternatives for maritime transport and decentralized renewable electricity production thus promoting zero emission on the Mediterranean Sea and
iii.) protection and re-generation of biodiversity of maritime and terrestrial coastal areas, identified on the basis of scientific data.
