10.10.2012: III Meeting on Arbitration in the Mediterranean

Following the last meetings of 8 September 2011 and 16 January 2012, the Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean will hold a third meeting about Arbitration in the Mediterranean. The event is addressed to Arbitration centers and other institutions involved in the promotion of arbitration in the Mediterranean with the aim to discuss the development of concrete actions in the field.

The meeting will take place next 10th October at the Palau de Pedralbes, in Barcelona, from 11.30 to 16.30 hours.

The main objectives of these series of meetings are:

– Have a clear common understanding of the initiatives promoted to strengthen the use of Arbitration in EU-Med relations
– Design a shared road map with the collaboration of all the key players
– Discuss initiatives and actions in the field of Arbitration within the framework of UfM projects

In particular, this third meeting will be focused on the evaluation of the proposals and opportunities which have emerged in the past months and will look at the possibility of undertaking concrete actions in the field of arbitration.
