Parliamentary Assembly – Union for the Mediterranean Committee on Energy, Environment and Water

The Committee on Energy, Environment and Water of the PA-UfM will meet on 12 June at the UfM headquarters in Barcelona. Topics on the Mediterranean Solar Plan, the climate change and concrete projects as Marine Protected Areas (MedPAN), Let’s Do It! Mediterranean and Eco-towns will be high on the agenda of the committee which will be attended by parliamentarians coming from parliaments of the EU member states and partner countries of the Barcelona Process. The aim of the meeting is to get first information on the current state of affairs in order to draw the right conclusions for further work. The Committee on Energy, Environment and Water  is one of five committees of the PA-UfM and chaired by the Austrian MP Prof. Stefan Schennach. The meeting at the headquarters will be followed by a visit of projects organised by the City of Barcelona.
