Algiers, 15 December 2022 – The Union for the Mediterranean organized a Workshop on “Green Economy Promotion: how to make green economy work for sustainable development and regional integration?” in Algiers on 15 December in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry of Algeria and with the support of GIZ. The UfM Trade and Investment Forum 2022 is the Forum’s fourth edition in four successive years, attesting to the emphasis that the UfM places on trade facilitation and investment promotion as pre-requisites of economic development and integration in the region. UfM Member States met today at the level of Senior Officials to discuss the activities and projects of the Union for the Mediterranean for the second semester 2022. Les ministres chargés de l’emploi et du travail au sein des pays de l’Union pour la Méditerranée (UpM) se sont accordés sur des actions communes pour une meilleure intégration des marchés sociaux et du travail dans la région euro-méditerranéenne.
