L’Union pour la Méditerranée (UpM), la Suède et le Partenariat mondial pour l’eau – Méditerranée (GWP-Med) ont inauguré des solutions techniques intégrées pour une agriculture durable dans le gouvernorat de Salt, en Jordanie. Ces solutions impliquent la réutilisation des eaux usées traitées par la station d’épuration de Wadi Shuayb pour l’irrigation, après un traitement tertiaire dans des zones humides construites, avec un pompage alimenté par de l’énergie solaire renouvelable, et une agriculture résiliente face au climat.
