• The UfM Secretariat presented its cooperation projects in higher education and research and invited universities from Barcelona to actively participate in UfM initiatives in the Euro-Med region.

ERANETMED pre-announces first joint call for transnational research projects. The objective is to develop joint research and enhance new innovative approaches and technologies in the Mediterranean Region. The scope of the call includes renewable energies and energy efficiency, water resources management or a combination of water and energy issues in the same project
“Young Women as Job Creators” provides talented young women finishing university with training and assistance in order to make them become successful businesswomen. The project’s second phase is to be implemented in additional countries and universities with enriched content.
La conférence « L’UpM : une plateforme opérationnelle pour le dialogue et l’intégration régionale » sera tenue par le secrétaire général de l’UpM, M. Sijilmassi, aujourd’hui à 19h00 à l’Institut d’Etudes Internationales de Barcelone (IBEI).
Bringing together some 200 participants from 35 countries, the conference created a unique momentum for dialogue at political and technical levels, allowing the exchange of best practices in the field of gender equality, the signature of cooperation and financing agreements, as well as the official launching of specific projects.
Le projet a été lancée aujourd’hui à l’occasion de la conférence « Autonomisation socio-économique des femmes : le progrès par les projets ». Le Ministère royal norvégien des affaires étrangères et le Département flamand des affaires étrangères ont co-financé la première phase du projet. Les cours de formation vont commencer dans les prochains mois en Jordanie, en Tunisie et au Maroc, ensuite au Liban et en Egypte.

Le projet labellisé de l’Union pour la Méditerranée Les programmes euro-méditerranéens de Master et de Doctorat seront mis en œuvre par des universités membres du réseau EMUNI, promoteur de l’initiative. Le projet vise à augmenter l’employabilité des étudiants en offrant des cours d’enseignement supérieur liées aux priorités de la région euro-méditerranéenne.
