2nd Webinar on Digitalisation of the Water Sector

27 February 2024, online. This second webinar of digitalisation in the water sector, titled “Towards a Roadmap for Digitalization of the Water Sector in the Euro-Mediterranean Region” will be held online on 27 February 2024.
The UfM has conducted a comprehensive study on the digital transformation of the water sector in the Mediterranean, which will be presented during this online webinar. The foucs of the webinar will be on successful applications of digital transformation.
The study has provided a deeper understanding of the current state of digitalisation, what can be achieved, unlock its value potential, and address key challenges.
The 1st Webinar on the Digital Transformation of the Water Sector in the Mediterranean took place on 5 December 2023. Its objective was to serve as a valuable platform for stakeholders to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and explore innovative solutions for water institutions and utilities in the region. However, this conference also served as a first step to building a Roadmap Towards Digitalisation of the Water Sector in the Euro-Mediterranean Region, as the UfM member countries deem the development of a roadmap essential to formulate effective strategies to achieve SDG 6 and address the pressing water-related issues of the region.
