3 February 2022. Last 17 November , the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), in partnership with the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), joined forces with Business Club Africa, a network with a reach of 6000+ executives across the African continent and around the world, to create and launch the MENA Women Business Club. The initiative takes place in the framework of the labeled UfM program Promoting Women’s Empowerment for Inclusive and Sustainable Industrial Development in the MENA Region (PWE)”
On 3rd February, the representatives of UNIDO and UfM will introduce the activities carried out under the PWEII programme and their support to the MENA Women Business Club . The participants will benefit of one Master Class on Digital marketing and will join the first edition of Speen Networking events. All the sessions will be available in EN and FR
The networking meeting on 3rd February is strictly for the members of the Club. But for those willing to become a member of the Club, there is the possibility to by purchasing your ticket today, you will automatically. During this event, you will meet other members one-on-one, download business cards, exchange documents, attend masterclasses, etc.
As a regional chapter of Business Club Africa – a private network of senior-level executives operating across all industries in and outside Africa – new members will have access to an extensive ecosystem of entrepreneurs, lawyers, consultants, executives and investors in sectors as varied as energy, agriculture, mining, tech, construction, finance, retail & distribution that will enable the Club members to network and grow their business. The MENA Women Business Club is therefore an important opportunity to intensify euro-Mediterranean and south-south business linkages and foster investment opportunities, including with the diaspora.
The call for applications launched in November led to the selection of 136 women entrepreneurs and female executives from the MENA region looking to expand their network and grow their business within the region and beyond.
