INWRDAM International Symposium on the “WEFE Nexus as a Catalyst for water policy making in the Levant and Africa”

12-16 March 2023, Amman. INWRDAM will be holding an International Symposium on the “WEFE Nexus as a Catalyst for water policy making in the Levant and Africa”, to which the Water, Environment and Blue Economy Deputy Secretary General has been invited 12 and 16 March 2023 in Amman. On December 30^th, 2022, the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) and the Inter-Islamic Network on Water Resources Development and Management (INWRDAM) signed a contract agreement for the establishing and institutionalization of a WEFE Nexus Hub for MENA in order to enhance the management of water, energy and food security within the MENA region and to ensure the socio-economic and environmental sustainability. This contract was granted as a fund based on the fund forwarding mechanism in the framework of the Grant Agreement between Sida and UfM.
