TEDx Barcelona Women

The Union for the Mediterranean will be institutional partner of the TEDx Barcelona Women that will take place on 10 June 2015.
TED is an annual event where some of the world’s leading thinkers and doers are invited to share what they are most passionate about. “TED” stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design, three broad subject areas that are, collectively, shaping our future. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized and non-profit events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
With the headline “It’s time to shift the balance,” invest in women will be the motto of the TEDxBarcelonaWomen held this year with the presence of speakers from all over the world who will share their personal stories with nearly 1,000 attendees – it will also be livestreamed here – with the focus on women entrepreneurs. The event will be celebrated at the Casino of Poblenou, in Barcelona.
