UfM Thematic Working Group on Affordable and Sustainable Housing – UfM Regional Platform on Sustainable Urban Development

20-21 September 2018, Brussels. The first meeting of the UfM Thematic Working Group on Affordable and Sustainable Housing, which will take place in Brussels on 20-21 September 2018, is organized in coordination with the UfM Co-Presidency. It will bring together national focal points at technical line ministries of UfM Member States and participants from key regional and international partner organizations and international financial institutions.

This Thematic Working Group will be instrumental for the successful implementation of the UfM Urban Agenda undertaken by UfM Member States, through a multi-stakeholder framework for dialogue and technical cooperation, with a view to facilitating regional cooperation on sustainable urban development in the Euro-Mediterranean region. To this end, it will develop a set of recommendations in the form of an Action Plan by the end of 2019.
