Launch of the Second Progress Report on Regional Integration

Barcelona, 12 September 2025. The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) will launch the 2nd UfM Progress Report on Regional Integration, marking a key milestone in efforts to deepen cooperation and connectivity across the Euro-Mediterranean region. Building on the inaugural 2021 edition, the report offers a data-driven assessment of integration dynamics among UfM Member States across five priority areas: trade, finance, infrastructure, digital economy, and mobility. It also highlights regional challenges and opportunities, providing actionable insights for policymakers and stakeholders.
The 2025 report comes at a pivotal time, as the region grapples with complex geopolitical and socioeconomic shifts. It will serve as a key reference for advancing a more resilient, inclusive, and interconnected Mediterranean.
