Award Ceremony: Exploring Mediterranean Urban Solutions to Climate Change and Resilience

Barcelona, 8-9 July 2026. The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) will host International Knowledge Exchanges in Architecture and Urban Planning: Exploring Med Urban Solutions in Barcelona on 8–9 July 2026.
Centred around the award ceremony of the UfM Student Competition Exploring Mediterranean Urban Solutions to Climate Change and Resilience, the event will celebrate student creativity and innovative design responses to the shared urban challenges facing Mediterranean cities.
It will also bring together university leaders, academics, students and institutional partners to reflect on lessons learned from the competition, strengthen cooperation among Schools of Architecture and Urban Planning, and explore how education, research and joint action can advance more sustainable, resilient and inclusive urban development across the Euro-Mediterranean region.
