UfM Euro-Mediterranean Sustainable Urban Development Strategy – Fifth Senior Official Experts Meeting

The Fifth Senior Official Experts Meeting will be held in Barcelona on 10 May 2013, with the aim to conclude the preparatory work of the UfM Euro-Mediterranean Sustainable Urban Strategy, as mandated by the Ministers in charge of Urban Development on the occasion of the “First Ministerial Conference of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) on Sustainable Urban Development” (Strasbourg on 9 – 10 November 2011).
During this meeting, the final draft of the “UfM Guidance Framework for Sustainable Euro-Mediterranean Cities and Territories” will be presented, together with the “Study for the Creation of an Urban Agency for the Mediterranean and of An Award for Urban Innovations” prepared by the IEMed, and a report on the latest developments about the urban projects finance initiative (UPFI).
