La première réunion de 2023 des hauts fonctionnaires des États membres de l’UpM a eu lieu aujourd’hui à Barcelone, permettant de discuter des principales priorités et orientations stratégiques pour l’année. À cette occasion, le soutien de l’UpM au projet Smart DESERT a été officialisé, avec la remise du label UpM. Le projet vise à remédier à la pénurie d’eau actuelle en Jordanie, tout en favorisant l’autonomisation économique des populations locales et réfugiées vulnérables.
