The Union for the Mediterranean labelled project Young Women as Job Creators, promoted by the Association of Organisations of Mediterranean Businesswomen (AFAEMME), held its first Women Entrepreneurship Day on 15 of May 2013 in Barcelona. The seminar was organized by the Catalan Association of Business and Executive Women (ACEE) and hosted by the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. On the 6th of May, the Secretary General met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and European Affairs of Belgium, Mr. Didier Reynders. Barcelona, 23 April, 2013. The UfM Secretariat hosted from 23 to 25 April a seminar organized by the College of Europe on “the Euro‐Mediterranean Partnership and the Union for the Mediterranean”. This seminar is part of an EC funded project targeting EU neighbouring countries. The general objective is to enhance the professional skills of relevant staff from public administrations of these countries and to enable them to gain a better understanding of the European Neighbourhood Policy and other relevant EU policies.
