EUROMED Invest Academy
Barcelona, 24-25 November 2015
“EUROMED Invest Academy”, bringing together between 60 to 80 representatives of BSOs and territorial actors and constituted by the Association of the Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME), EUROCHAMBERS, ANIMA and BusinessMED networks, will conduct a two day capacity building workshop in the Casa Llotja de Mar (Barcelona), on 24-25 November 2015.
The workshop will take place in the framework of the EUROMED Invest Project, and in conjunction with the annual Mediterranean Week of Economic Leaders. It is co-organised by the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce with the support of the Association of Organisations of Mediterranean Businesswomen (AFAEMME).
“EUROMED Invest Academy” will focus on the “Barcelona Declaration+20: Trade and Investment for a Mediterranean of shared prosperity”. The UfM Secretariat’s participation in this event will therefore be central: it will lead two sessions on the first morning to elaborate on the different regional initiatives the UfM is supporting in favor of economic development in the Mediterranean.
The first session “A Mediterranean of Projects – Union for the Mediterranean, Regional Development Initiatives” will include the participation of UfM Managing Director for Urban Development, Mr. Guy Fleuret, as well as with that of UfM Project Managers for Transport and Energy. The second session will be dedicated to “Med4Jobs: supporting job creation in the Mediterranean”, and will be presented by the UfM Business Development Division and Higher Education and Research division.
