Mediterranean Week of Economic Leaders – 10th Edition
Casa Llotja de Mar, Barcelona, 30 November and 1-2 December 2016.
The Mediterranean region is experiencing a wide range of far-reaching social, political and economic transformations and growing economic potentialities. Despite its many economic opportunities, the Mediterranean still has a lot to overcome. Some economic, social and environmental challenges are more relevant and urgent than ever before.
To overcome these obstacles and build a shared and sustainable future for all the region’s people, increasingly clear action and commitments are required from businesses in partnership with the public sector and civil society.
Under the slogan “A need for action” the 10th MedaWeek will offer a unique platform to explore the business opportunities of competitive industries which generate productive and sustainable employment and are considered as drivers for economic growth and regional development. During the three-day event a wide range of forums will offer the opportunity to share best practices and experiences, propose concrete projects and create new business opportunities.
By celebrating 10 years of valuable achievements, it is a special time to highlight MedaWeek’s successes and leadership over many years, casting an eye to the future with a special focus on the participation of the private sector in the economic integration process of the Mediterranean.
Thousands of businessmen, institutional representatives and international organizations are expected to attend this year’s special edition.
