Task force EuroMed National Coordinators First Steering Committee

The meeting is organised in the framework of the Euro-Med Transport Cooperation. It follows from the conclusions and recommendations of the 12th Working Group Infrastructure & Regulatory issues and the 10th Euro-Mediterranean Transport Forum that were held in January 2013, with the aim to create an ad-hoc Committee to direct the preparatory work of the revision of the Regional Transport Action Plan, as well as the preparation of the Ministerial Transport Conference foreseen on 14 November 2013.

The National Coordinators Meeting is one of the important components of the Euromed process, and is usually composed of the representatives of ten Southern Mediterranean countries namely Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Palestinian Authority, Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey and Libya, as well as of DG DEVCO, DG MOVE and the UfM Secretariat.
