Conference on the Union for the Mediterranean at the University of Bordeaux

Bordeaux, 15 May 2014.

On 15 May 2014, the UfM Secretary General, Mr. Fathallah Sijilmassi, will participate in a conference titled ‘Union for the Mediterranean: review and prospects’, organized by Forum Montesquieu, Centre d’expertise pour l’innovation sociétale of the Faculty of Law and Political Science, University of Bordeaux; in collaboration with the Moroccan Consulate in Bordeaux, and the Consul Général, Mr. Hicham Bensoltane.

Mr. Jean-Claude Gautron, Professor Emeritus of Law at the University of Bordeaux will join Mr. Sijilmassi in presenting the Union for the Mediterranean.

The conference will offer the opportunity for an exchange of views with the public on priority themes like business development, transport, sustainable urban development, energy, water and environment, as well as higher education and research.
