10 June 2025, Nice, France. The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), under its Co-Presidency, is proud to invite you to Mediterranean Day, taking place on 10 June 2025 in Nice (France) as part of the 3rd United Nations Conference on Oceans (UNOC-3), hosted by France and co-convened with Costa Rica.
As part of the official agenda, the UfM-led Segment on Sustainable Blue Economy, titled “Charting the path towards SBE: the Mediterranean leading the way”, will be held from 14:00 to 16:00 CET. This high-level segment will spotlight the Mediterranean as a global frontrunner in advancing a sustainable blue economy—delivering real progress in environmental protection, climate resilience, social equity, and sustainable growth.
The session will take place in person only, at the Centre Universitaire Méditerranéen (CUM) on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, within the Green Zone of the UNOC-3 venue. Simultaneous interpretation will be available in English, French, and Arabic.
