1 June 2021. The event Young people as game changers for zero pollution in the Mediterranean will take place on the 1st of June (3 to 6 pm CET) in a hybrid format, with online discussions and live connections on the ground, in the framework of the EU Green Week.
The discussion will focus on the efforts of young people engaged in keeping the Mediterranean region clean and healthy, showcasing that solutions exist but they need a wider engagement of current and future generations to be more effective and have a global impact at Mediterranean level.
Organised by ENI CBC Med, the largest EU-funded Programme for Mediterranean cross-border cooperation with organizations from 14 countries, it will feature speakers like Rim Filali Meknassi from the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), Nouhad Awwad, Greenpeace-MENA campaigner, Giovanni Mori, Italian spokesperson of Fridays for Future, as well as environmental activists from across the region.
