UfM Senior Officials Adopt Secretariat’s Documents on Project Guidelines and Staff Regulations

The document on Project Guidelines describes the processes and practice the UfM Secretariat will follow in order to fulfil its mandate of identifying, processing and promoting regional, sub-regional and transnational projects in the Mediterranean, as well as searching for funding and for implementation partners.
Earlier this month, Member States also adopted the Secretariat´s Staff Regulations document, which regulates the various aspects of the staff working at the Secretariat, and details their rights and obligations.
The Secretariat is currently proceeding to meet the aspired objectives of the UfM in identifying and promoting projects that reflect the real needs and priorities of the Member States, and which will also pave the way for an effective, beneficial and tangible cooperation between the European Union and its Mediterranean neighbors.
