CEO Women Conference 2025: “Women in Technology: Leading the Future”
20 October 2025, Cairo – The Union for the Mediterranean joins as Supporting Partner for the 4th Edition of the CEO Women Conference 2025: “Women in Technology: Leading the Future”
The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) is proud to join as a Supporting Partner for the 4th edition of the CEO Women Conference 2025, scheduled to take place on 20 October 2025 at the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza, under the auspices of H.E. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, and under the patronage of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, with the participation of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Council for Women, and the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism.
This year’s edition, held under the theme “Women in Technology: Leading the Future”, will highlight the pioneering role of women in driving digital transformation and innovation across multiple sectors. The conference is organized in collaboration with Air France (Airline Partner), the League of Arab States (Organizing Partner), Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (Official Partner), and The University of Manchester- Dubai (Educational partner), alongside the Union for the Mediterranean as Supporting Partner.
The event will feature the participation of leading national and international institutions, including the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA), the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA), and the Ministerial Group for Entrepreneurship. It will also welcome foreign chambers of commerce in Egypt (British and German), as well as the Egyptian Junior Business Association (EJB) and the Egyptian Private Equity Association (EPEA).
Entrepreneurs Zone
Alongside the main conference, the Entrepreneurs Zone will return on a larger scale, in collaboration with the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) at the AUC Onsi Sawiris School of Business. Bringing together more than 50 startups, technology and AI developers, incubators, accelerators, major corporations, investors, and university entrepreneurship centers, the Zone will serve as a vibrant hub for networking, partnership-building, knowledge exchange, and showcasing innovative and scalable solutions across national priority sectors.
About the CEO Women Conference
Since its inception, the CEO Women Conference has become a leading international economic platform, held annually in October, dedicated to empowering women, advancing inclusive growth, and strengthening international cooperation. Each edition brings together policymakers, business leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs to shape strategies that contribute to sustainable development, with women at the heart of progress.
To expand its institutional impact beyond the event, the conference founded the CEO Women Business Club, a business network now active in 10 countries, providing services to businesswomen and entrepreneurs, while enhancing collaboration, networking, and business development on both regional and global scales.
This year, the conference has chosen France as the Guest of Honor, and a special gala will be held in Cairo in honor of the French Embassy, recognizing France’s significant efforts in promoting women’s economic empowerment across the region. This new tradition will be maintained in all future editions, with a Guest of Honor country selected every year.
