First International Conference PPP for Cities: Fostering sustainability and innovation in cities through Public Private Partnerships

The city of Barcelona will host the “First International Conference PPP for Cities: Fostering sustainability and innovation in cities through Public Private Partnerships”, on 17 November 2015, in the framework of the Smart City Expo World Congress.
The Conference, organized by The Specialist Centre on Public Private Partnership in Smart and Sustainable Cities (PPP for Cities), will discuss and debate about the solutions PPPs can offer cities to build Smart and Sustainable Cities (SSC), in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The Conference will gather some of the most relevant experts in their respective areas, including academics, policy makers from the municipal, provincial and national level, and private sector delegates representing different professions: finance, engineering, IT and law.
UfM Secretariat Managing Director for Infrastructures and Urban Development, Mr. Guy Fleuret, will participate in this first edition of the Conference which will cover among other topics, the governance challenges in infrastructures and urban projects, and the role of PPP in urban projects.
