Johan Christopher Vibe explains the reasons behind Norway’s support to UfM actions

Barcelona, 26 November 2015. During the UfM Conference, held in Barcelona in November 2015, Johan Christopher Vibe, Ambassador of Norway to Spain, explains the reasons of Norway to support UfM projects promoting female entrepreneurship in the Mediterranean.

The UfM Co-presidency, the EU and Jordan, and the 43 Member states have given a strong political commitment to the UfM and have called for unity and collective work to face the challenges of the Mediterranean region during their informal high level meeting held today in Barcelona. Federica Mogherini, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Nasser Judeh, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan, and José Manuel García-Margallo, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Spain, have stressed the importance of the UfM as the regional framework for political dialogue and cooperation in the Mediterranean.
