MedECC authors’ meeting

9-10 June 2022 – UfM is supporting the organization of a MedECC authors’ meeting at the Faculty of Physics of the University of Barcelona. The overall objective of the meeting is to progress on the production of the three Special Reports on the Mediterranean that are being prepared during the period 2022-2023, namely on (i) coastal risks, (ii) climate-water-food-energy-ecosystems nexus and (iii) environmental/climate change, conflict and human migration. The Special Reports aim to cover issues of interest for private and public policymakers. SDSG Grammenos Mastrojeni will be delivering an opening speech, followed by closed door discussions. For this event, MedECC benefited from the financial support of the Union for the Mediterranean, the University of Barcelona and the Advisory Council for the Sustainable Development of Catalonia of the Government of Catalonia.
