نبذة عن المؤتمر

تنظم الأمانة العامة للاتحاد من أجل المتوسط مؤتمراً رفيع المستوى حول تعزيز مشاركة المرأة في الحياة الاقتصادية يومي 19 و20 مايو/أيار 2015 في برشلونة.

استناداً إلى نتائج المؤتمر الأول حول تمكين المرأة المنعقد في 26-27 مارس/آذار 2014، وعلى سبيل المتابعة المتجددة للمؤتمر الوزاري الثالث للاتحاد من أجل المتوسط حول تعزيز دور المرأة في المجتمع (باريس، 11 سبتمبر/أيلول 2013)، سيحتضن هذا المؤتمر حواراً مقنناً بين أصحاب المصلحة للتعرف على العقبات الرئيسية التي تقف في طريق المشاركة الاقتصادية الكاملة للمرأة وتحديد أعمال ملموسة واستراتيجية لتعزيز مشاركة المرأة في الحياة الاقتصادية.

وستركز حلقات العمل المواضيعية على القطاعات والمجالات التي تتيح اليوم فرصاً وإمكانية من حيث الوظائف أو فرص ريادة الأعمال للمرأة.

ويُتوقع حضور ما يزيد على 250 ممثلاً من أصحاب المصلحة الرئيسيين المعنيين بقضايا التمكين الاجتماعي والاقتصادي للمرأة، من ضمنهم شخصيات ناشطة في هذا المجال، وممثلون عن الوزارات المسؤولة عن المساواة بين الجنسين، ووزارات الشؤون الخارجية، والمؤسسات الوطنية بالدول أعضاء الاتحاد من أجل المتوسط، والوكالات الإنمائية الدولية، والقطاع الخاص، ومنظمات المجتمع المدني، فضلاً عن الجهات المقدمة للمشاريع الحالية و المحتملة مستقبلاً.

أهداف المؤتمر

يسعى المؤتمر إلى تحقيق 3 أهداف، وهي:

توفير منتدى للحوار المقنن بين أصحاب المصلحة المعنيين في مجال المشاركة الاقتصادية للمرأة، من حكوماتٍ ومنظماتٍ دولية وجهاتٍ مانحة وممثلي مجتمع مدني، لمناقشة كيفية تعزيز التماسك والتآزر والتكامل في الأعمال بغية تجنُّب الازدواجية وزيادة التأثير المحقَّق.
تبادُل الخبرات وأفضل الممارسات والتعرف على الفرص الجديدة والخلّاقة التي تتيحها المجالات والقطاعات غير المستغلة والتي من شأنها توفير وظائف وفرص ريادة أعمال للمرأة.
الترويج للمشاريع الإقليمية الجديدة والمبادرات المبتكرة وتيسير إقامة الشبكات والشراكات بين الجهات المروجة والمانحة.
