This webinar aims to bring together stakeholders from various sectors, including public entities, research institutions, and the private sector, to engage in expert roundtables focused on the following objectives:

• Reviewing Current Definitions and Conceptualization of OECM: We will take stock of the existing definitions and conceptualizations of Other Effective Conservation Measures (OECM) and discuss criteria for identifying potential OECM sites.
• Showcasing Good Practices and Implementation Examples: Participants will gain insights into successful practices and examples from different countries and organizations on how they have implemented the OECM concept.
• Exploring Private Sector Contributions: The webinar will also provide perspectives on how the private sector can enhance conservation efforts through the implementation or financing of OECM in the Mediterranean region.
