It addresses the growing need to modernise Mediterranean water systems facing droughts, losses and ageing infrastructure, explaining how digital tools, such as smart meters, sensors, data platforms and AI, can help operators manage resources more efficiently, cut losses and improve service quality, while recognising the very different starting points and capacities across countries.
