TUNIS (TAP) – Foreign Minister Rafik Abdessalem announced, on Thursday, that Tunisia is to host, next October or November, a conference on investment with the support of the Union For the Mediterranean (UFM).

The UfM Euro-Mediterranean Sustainable Urban Development Strategy Second Senior Official Experts (SOEs) Meeting was held in Barcelona on 25th May 2012 with the participation of 8 countries and 14 institutions.
The Transport and Urban Development Division of the UfM is actively working on the promotion of two labeled projects that will improve the level of qualifications in the logistics sector and will enhance regional trade in Southern Mediterranean Member countries, respectively.
The Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean actively participated in the MENAREC 5 Conference in Marrakech, which brings together ministers and senior representatives from Mediterranean countries, international organizations and the private sector.
